Candidate filing begins Monday

The official filing period for local and state offices in Chelan and Douglas counties begins on Monday, May 4. Candidates have one week to submit their paperwork for positions ranging from county sheriff to state representative. Filing is required to appear on the ballots for the upcoming August primary and November general elections.
