26 Entiat structures lost to Little Giant Fire

The Chelan County Sheriff's Office said about 26 structures burned in the upper Entiat Valley on Friday when the Little Giant Fire became very active under red flag conditions. Fire District 8 Chief Adam Jones and personnel entered the area Sunday and determined the losses included two primary residences, three cabins and 21 outbuildings. Unpredictable fire behavior, compromised trees and rolling debris prevented a complete assessment, with the county assessor's office to follow once conditions allow.
