Little Giant Fire destroys structures in Entiat Valley, Kaiser Canyon Fire nears 70% containment

The Little Giant Fire destroyed two primary residences, three cabins and 21 outbuildings in the Entiat Valley and had burned 116,956 acres at 2% containment as of Monday. Crews anchored operations to Chiwawa River Road and focused on protecting structures in the Entiat Valley, Lake Wenatchee, Fish Lake and other areas as new Level 3 evacuations were issued. The Kaiser Canyon Fire on the Colville Reservation reached 138,213 acres and 63% containment with about 966 personnel assigned.
