Havana Nights brings cars, salsa, community to East Wenatchee

Downtown East Wenatchee became a street festival Saturday for Havana Nights as residents shook off a week of avoiding the smoky outdoors. The 800 block of Valley Mall Parkway filled with vintage and muscle cars, food trucks from as far as Waterville and Dryden, and a beer garden outside Clearwater Saloon. Couples danced to live salsa from Seattle band Son Los Que Son at the free block-party-style event.
