Wenatchee labyrinth finds new life at Chase Park

A brick labyrinth that Ada Riley laid by hand at Riverfront Park on her 72nd birthday in 2008 was reinstalled at Chase Park, with Riley placing the final bricks at 90. The city saved the bricks in storage when a 2023-24 trail project forced the labyrinth's removal, and a Chase Park master plan from 2011 had already called for one. Her granddaughter Katie Blair thanked the parks department for saving not only the bricks but the art, the idea and the belief behind it.
