Show off your garden's bounty at the county fair

The briefing

A WSU Master Gardener column encourages local gardeners to enter exhibits at the Chelan County Fair, running Sept. 10-13 in Cashmere. Entry is free and open to everyone, with online registration new this year and Master Gardeners on hand Sept. 9 to help with flower, fruit, vegetable and home brew entries. Judging compares each exhibit to an ideal standard rather than to other entries, and premium points can earn exhibitors a check.
