Bands play on despite smoke

About 100 people turned out for the inaugural Arrowleaf Music Festival at Lincoln Park on Aug. 15 despite wildfire smoke in the valley. The free, all-ages event featured more than 10 local bands, mostly young musicians, along with food trucks and merchandise tables. Organizers donated all merchandise profits, roughly $700, to Serve Wenatchee Valley and the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society.
