Men's soccer opens season with split friendlies; women fall twice in Tukwila

Wenatchee Valley College's men's soccer team split a pair of preseason friendlies at Starfire Complex in Tukwila, losing 2-0 to Shoreline before beating South Puget Sound 4-3. Alfonso Rosado and Alvaro Rodriguez-Andrade scored early against the Clippers, and Rosado set up Juan Gallo for the winner in the 62nd minute. The WVC women dropped both of their openers, losing 10-0 to Clackamas and 11-0 to South Puget Sound.
