The East Wenatchee City Council covered city finances, a speed limit change and the joint police chief agreement at its Tuesday meeting. General fund revenues are up about 0.97% year-to-year while expenses are down 1.76%, and finance director Josh DeLay expects a small surplus depending on general liability insurance costs. The council also lowered the Fifth Street NE speed limit from 30 to 25 mph and unanimously approved the interlocal police chief agreement.
