Man convicted in 2025 shooting sentenced to 15 years, seeks appeal

Addiel Ricardo Apparicio, 23, was sentenced in Chelan County Superior Court to 185 months in prison after being convicted of first-degree assault and felony harassment for shooting a man in the arm in 2025. Judge Kristin Ferrera ruled that Apparicio did not act in self-defense and imposed a 50-year no-contact order against him. Apparicio's defense argued self-defense at trial and is currently appealing the conviction.
