The briefing
Chelan County Commissioners included a draft letter to members of the U.S. Congress in their meeting packet, requesting increased federal investment and proactive forest management to combat wildfires. The letter urges the U.S. Forest Service to treat the 68% of county lands under its jurisdiction, increase air resources, and support post-fire restoration.
