Eastmont XC ‘might be very good’ after returning so much talent

As the Eastmont High School cross country program prepares for its first meet, head coach Chris Fayant is optimistic about the team's potential despite wildfire smoke challenges. Perennial performer Cade Hill returns for his senior year after strong finishes at district and state championships. The girls' team also returns four Big Nine All-Conference selections alongside freshman newcomer Lila Hamon.
