1 year after flood, Serve Wenatchee Valley rebuilds, expands capacity
The briefing
One year after a fire-suppression pipe burst and flooded Serve Wenatchee Valley’s building, the organization is nearing completion of a 30% footprint expansion. The renovated facility features a significantly larger Fresh HOPE Market, dedicated intake offices, and an expanded food-preparation area to better serve the community. Executive Director Mike Malmin notes the organization is still raising funds to cover the remaining $167,000 needed to finish the space.
