RiverCom begins $7M renovation of future 911 center
The briefing
Construction is underway on RiverCom’s new 11,000-square-foot facility, a roughly $7 million renovation of a former orchard office in East Wenatchee. The project includes structural upgrades for Risk Category IV building standards, expanding the dispatch center from 11 to 16 stations, and adding a radio tower. The facility is funded in part by a voter-approved sales tax increase and federal funding requests, with staff expected to move in by late 2027.
