The briefing
Music Theatre of Wenatchee is launching its 2026-27 season with the satirical musical 'Urinetown,' directed by John Mausser. Running from Oct. 15 through Oct. 31 at the Riverside Playhouse, the show pokes fun at corporate greed and political corruption within a drought-stricken city where private toilets are outlawed. Director John Mausser, who was part of the ensemble in the company's 2006 production of the show, highlights its combination of humor and pointed social commentary.
