Douglas County, port seek $7.5M for Wenatchi Landing interchange

Douglas County and the Chelan Douglas Regional Port Authority are seeking $7.5 million to close a funding gap for a major interchange north of East Wenatchee. The interchange is a crucial part of the $60 million transportation portion of the 317-acre Wenatchi Landing commercial development project. Federal and local leaders have secured initial funding, and design work is already underway.
